SPREADING THE GOSPEL THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
African Internet Radio Ministry (AIRM) was established to connect believers and nonbelievers to God’s Word through a novel, cost-effective method that uses social media and the internet. While some other groups are still broadcasting on the radio wavelengths, this has become a very expensive proposition. In contrast, podcasting can be done inexpensively and have a world-wide reach wherever the internet can be accessed and if needed through flash drive distribution to areas that are not accessible through the internet.

The Mission
The “prosperity gospel” spread throughout Africa has created confusion. What does God’s Word say? What is the Good News?
The goal of AIRM is to provide an authentic Christ-centered message service to audiences in their native languages in Africa, the Middle East and throughout the world in a sustainable way.
This provides a mechanism to reach out to souls for God’s Kingdom and equip people with truth, courage, vision, and empowerment in their faith lives.

The Listeners
AIRM will be available to a world-wide audience, but the major target audience of the ministry will be the 120 million people who live in Ethiopia and surrounding areas of East Africa.
This ministry directly supports the healing of divisions among several tribes in Ethiopia that are separated by civil wars, tribalism and ethnocentrism. The aim is to promote reconciliation and Christ’s forgiveness.

The Process and Goals
AIRM will be hosted in the US and Africa through 360 YouTube channels, making it available to anyone around the world who has internet access.
These channels will transmit recorded programs and live podcasts at no cost to the listener. The AIRM Program Director will strategically identify important issues to address using Biblical, theological, missional, social, and anthropological viewpoints, all founded in Christ-centered faith.
AIRM has committed to produce 100 episodes this year. $20 per episode. $6000 for studio rental.
The Partnerships
AIRM partners with the Scripture Alone Podcast Ministry in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which is known for confessing Christ through preaching and teaching.
We are creating a community of faith and support groups all over Africa and the US. Local churches and ministries are connecting denominations and people across the continent.
Program hosts and guests are experts in their fields, and the content focuses on Biblical education, current theological perspectives, help for life struggles leading to success, and church planting tools.

Scripture Alone Podcast

By the grace of God, the Scripture Alone Podcast proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ and stresses the importance of the rediscovery of the primacy of the Bible by the reformation churches.
We confess that, no man can be justified before God by the works of the law (Rom 3:20). Rather, sinners are justified in the sight of God by putting their trust in Christ’s death on the cross. It is through faith in Christ and Christ alone that we miserable sinners are reconciled with God the Father (Rom. 3:28). God forgives our sin out of pure grace without any merit in us. A wretched, death bound sinner can never contribute anything to his salvation. Left to our will, we cannot help but sin even when we are doing good works. Man is in bondage to sin, and therefore deserves death (eternal damnation) for sinning against God in thought, word, and deed. As it is written, “the wages of sin is death’’ (Rom.6:23).
But the Scripture tells the Good News for sinners. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life” (John 3:16). Christ bore our shame and guilt. As it is written ‘’when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared he did not save us because of the good works done by us, but he saved us according to his mercy’’ (Titus 3:4). Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, so that in Christ we might have the promise of eternal life through faith (Gal. 3:10-15). We are saved by faith alone, in Christ alone, apart from the works of the law. For those who put their trust in the crucified Christ, God grants forgiveness of sins and eternal life for the sake of Christ. To the one who “trusts him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness” (Rom. 4:4-5). The Scriptures clearly teach us that “…no one is justified before God by the law; for the one who is righteous will live by faith” (Gal 3:10-11). Thus, it is by Faith Alone, through the Grace of God Alone that we are saved, and that we learn through the Scripture Alone.
