Build Them Up
Master Builder Center Partnership Programs:
Master Builder Center provides spiritual, educational emotional, moral, financial, and skill support to less fortunate families so that they are able to discover and develop their unique spiritual, mental, creative, and physical gifts for the glory of God and the betterment of their fellow man. MBC shines the Gospel light in word and deed, beginning with His littlest lambs and extending through shepherds, leaders, and entrepreneur business incubators. MBC addresses the catastrophic needs of the impoverished and abandoned children of Ethiopia. We offer food, clothing, shelter, education, the Good News of the Gospel, and seed money to initiate small businesses and hope for the future.
Sponsor a Child — $40 / month
Support a child from one of our projects in Ethiopia.
Feeding His Lambs puts orphan children into families. Instead of building a bricks-and-mortar facility, we place children with their extended families or friends. Then, we provide financial assistance to help the family pay for food and clothing. Because of the extreme poverty of Ethiopia, these families would be unable to open their loving homes to children without our help.
Sponsor a Resident at the Women's Center — $1500 / year
Student Sponsorship — $1620 / year
Educating Leaders will offer a high-quality college education to youth in our program as they graduate from high school. This education will prepare our “lambs” and others for leading roles in the church, their communities, and the country of Ethiopia. We will also meet a critical need in the nation by offering scholarship opportunities to qualified students who are interested in advanced education in science, technology, and engineering. Our graduates will be leaders ready to meet the greatest challenges in the 21st century economy.
MBC will support educational levels from K–12 and higher education levels. MBC will partner with private colleges in the country to promote entrepreneurship. The colleges will also help MBC work toward a pivotal goal of becoming self-sufficient. Students whose families can afford a college education will also attend, helping pay the costs of college for all.
Sponsor a Pastor — $1500 / year
Training Sponsorship — $2000 / year
Supporting His Shepherds provides a seminary education to older youth who are interested in church work. These “shepherds” tend to the lambs in addition to their work in classes and in church. The shepherds are the next generation to serve the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus, the fastest growing Lutheran Church in the world. We provide financial assistance for seminarians to stay in school and serve the church.
$15,000 / low-cost church-building program.
The Building the Church program partners with local churches in their evangelistic efforts to reach more people with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ, providing them financial support to open new preaching stations, bringing the Good News to new areas.
